    Water Rescue - Helicopter Winch

    A variation to our Man Overboard manikin, designed (with the help of Bristow Helicopters UK) to aid the lifting of a patient from the water avoiding the effects of hydrostatic squeeze associated with a straight lift. 

    Shorter legs and a slightly different weight distribution allow the manikin to be hoisted in the 'W' position.

    Surf Rescue

    Water Rescue - Body Recovery (Sinking)

    A pre-established protocol is essential for victim retrieval - the body recovery manikin was predominately designed to aid Police dive teams train to recover bodies from any inland waters or under ice.

    The manikin will slowly sink to the bottom maintaining a slightly negative buoyancy of about 10kg, which is very similar to a real human.

    A unique solution to training on a bariatric patient - without the weight! Not strictly true, as eventually it does get very heavy! Simply slip the suit over a standard LifeTec dummy, then fill it with water. 

    Starting with a standard 30kg dummy, add up to 150kg in weight in about 20 minutes. The water is distributed throughout the suit and is controlled so it doesn't slump.

    Pregnancy Vest

    Challenge your training with more realistic situations!

    • Fits over any Ruth Lee Adult manikin (excluding bariatric) and not recommended for use with Fire House and water rescue range manikins.
    • Very easy to fit, simply pull the vest over the manikin’s head and secure using tie strings under the arms and through the legs, and clips at the waist.
    • Lightweight, under 1kg in weight, the vest lets you simulate a lady approximately 4-6 months pregnant and features a rounded belly and breasts.
    • Give your training an interesting challenge – does the pregnancy give a different perspective to management of the situation?

    Bariatric (Obese) Rescue Manikin

    A range of manikins to allow training on a much heavier and bulkier dummy. Specialist equipment is now required to move bariatric patients, and our dummies allow this training to take place without inconveniencing the patients. 

    Designed to simulate the bulk of a real bariatric patient with the weight distributed correctly. Three weights; 260kg, 180kg and 90kg. They all vary in weight, but carry the same bulk. Special order, allow 12 weeks to process.

    Bariatric (Water-Fillable) Rescue Training Manikin

    A unique solution to training on a bariatric patient - without the weight! Not strictly true, as eventually it does get very heavy! Simply slip the suit over a standard LifeTec dummy, then fill it with water. 

    Starting with a standard 30kg dummy, add up to 150kg in weight in about 20 minutes. The water is distributed throughout the suit and is controlled so it doesn't slump.

    Water Rescue - Helicopter Winch

    A variation to our Man Overboard manikin, designed (with the help of Bristow Helicopters UK) to aid the lifting of a patient from the water avoiding the effects of hydrostatic squeeze associated with a straight lift. 

    Shorter legs and a slightly different weight distribution allow the manikin to be hoisted in the 'W' position.

    Water Rescue - Body Recovery (Sinking)
